Weather-Based Operational Mode
As the weather changes, the WaterOptimizer responds. The WaterOptimizer does this by working in conjunction with a weather station that sends weather-related information to the Network Operation Center. The Network Operation Center calculates evapotranspiration and sends this information back to the Controller. The Controller then calculates appropriate run times for each zone by assessing applications rate, soil conditions and even the sloping of the land on the property.
And if it’s raining, the irrigation system will simply not activate.
