WaterOptimizer

Pressure-Based Operational Mode

Using the WaterOptimizer, each utility monitors water pressure through its system. Once the pressure drops below a designed set point, the Network Operation Center initiates an interruption of the individual controls. These interruptions can be made at a physical address or on a regional basis.

Once satisfactory pressure has been restored, the irrigation system comes back online and picks up where it left off. This allows for a complete irrigation cycle

Other Features

The Pressure-Based Operational Mode also allows utilities to ensure that homeowners are complying with regulation requirements. For instance, if a homeowner is irrigating at the wrong time or during the wrong day, the Controllers interrupt the system, then bring it back online during the appropriate irrigation day/time occurs.

Additionally, the Pressure-Based Operational Mode allows for peak demands on a system to be significantly reduced. This can be done by providing specific watering days to specific physical addresses.
