Project Description

This project is located in the Fort MacArthur, which is a part of the Los Angeles Air Force Base Military housing community.  The project includes the retrofit of the existing time-based irrigation controllers with WaterOptimizer System.  The entire Fort MacArthur irrigation system will operate in Weather-ET baed mode using a local weather station installed onsite.  The WaterOptimizer was installed in November 2009 with the objective to minimize the total amount of potable water used for irrigation in the residential community.
